Security Officer

Port Said
(Egypt), Gibraltar, Larnaca or Malta
(Home based Ports)
Duties:
You will
accompany a ship as part of a small team
from one of the Home based Ports
to the Port of Destination or an
intermediate stop of the shipping
companies choosing. During the passage
you will be responsible, with your other
team members, for the security of the
ship from external attacks and report to
the team leader, who will assign the
duties.
No weapons (e.g. guns etc)
will be carried for these duties.
Compensation:
Annual Base
Salary is US$ 60,000 while located in the
"Home based Ports" or
the "Destination Ports"
as defined for each journey. While aboard
a ship, there will be a daily transit
allowance of US$ 250.00. All food,
accommodation and transport is covered
and paid for by the employer. In
addition, a
US$ 50.00 per
diem will be paid for each day on duty.
Requirements:
Solid Security
background, preferably military or law
enforcement. Able to fit into a small
team. Tolerant of other cultures, since
your assignment could be on ships of
different nationalities. Ability to speak
languages, other than English an asset.
Candidates will
undergo drug testing and are required to
have a clean criminal record.

Duties:
You will lead a
team that acompanies a ship from one of
the Home based Ports to the Port
of Destination or an intermediate
stop of the shipping companies choosing.
During the passage you will be
responsible, for the security of the ship
from external attacks and report to the
Captain of the vessel.
No weapons (e.g. guns etc)
will be carried for these duties.
