Asking for and
Getting Advice Getting unbiased advice is not an easy
task. Often people people asking for advice have a
preconceived idea of what they want to hear, and if the
advice received does not conform to that, they will
reject is. This is obviously not the right way to go
about. So that you do not fall into this trap, it is a
good thing to make sure that you have a good written
outline of the items your are looking for advice on and
your own thoughts about it. Asking the right questions is
the key! So prepare them before you seek advice.
You
should also remember that getting advice and using it, is
an iterative process. As you go along and learn more
about the issues, new questions might arise that need to
be tackled. Keep it organized and in order and latter
when sifting through the advice you received, make a
priority list and only, after that, start to act on
it!
