Employer has an immediate need for
several Electronic Controls Engineers with
at least 2-5 years design experience with
PLC's. Must have experience with Allen
Bradley PLC's. Experience in the pipeline/gas/oil
industry is required. The respoinsibilities of
the electronic/controls engineer include various
it/engineering design, implementation, and
technical analysis activities. This position
requires thorough knowledge in the practical
application of controls engineering analysis,
design and engineering and controls standards.
You should also have experience with material
specifications, pipeline equipment, fundamental
system operations, regulatory requirements,
procedures and safe work practices.

The company is looking for a
Compressor Technician for LA, location. This
position will be responsible for carrying out
daily operations and mechanical maintenance tasks
associated with compressor activities. This
position is also responsible for regulatory
compliance, operations, maintenance, and repair
procedures as associated with DOT, industry
standard, manufacturer, and Company guidelines as
they relate to facility equipment and
appurtenances. This includes, but is not limited
to, repair and maintenance of reciprocating
natural gas engines and associated compressor
units, periodic checks associated with various
components throughout the facility and with
engines/compressors (e.g. valves, shut-down
devices, rod/bearing clearances, packing, piston
clearances, lube oil samples, web deflections,
cooling fan inspections, emergency shut-down
systems, fire/gas detection, etc.).
Qualified candidates will have a high school
diploma and 3-5 years plant/compressor operations
experience and/or engine and machinery repair and
maintenance experience. This individual should
also have a basic understanding of electricity
and the ability to use a multimeter. A 2-year
Associates or Trade School degree is preferred.
This position will be expected to respond to
call-outs and will be part of on-call rotations
for troubleshooting downtime, or regulating and
maintaining engine/compression online status.
Physical requirements of the role include the
ability to lift and carry 50lbs for a minimum of
50 feet in order to transfer tools and equipment.
Additional physical requirements include the
ability to operate valve control wheels with a
minimum of 50 turns, as well as the ability to
work alone as required in extreme weather
conditions including hot, cold, muddy and wet
environments.
